Vanessa Roman, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a compassionate, bilingual (English/Spanish) Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping individuals find balance when life feels overwhelming. She works with adults and adolescents who may be experiencing burnout, anxiety, depression, or simply not feeling like themselves—offering supportive, evidence-based care to help them move forward.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Vanessa understands how culture, family, and personal experiences shape the way we view mental health and healing. She takes a practical, collaborative approach that integrates medication management with evidence-based psychotherapy through the biopsychosocial model. Her sessions are conversational, grounded, and focused on what’s happening now, helping patients find manageable and meaningful steps toward well-being.

Vanessa earned her Master of Science in Nursing from California State University, Los Angeles, on a full scholarship and graduated at the top of her class. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for over five years, receiving multiple Patient Quality Service Awards and serving on the Shared Leadership Council. Vanessa completed her residency under the Director of Consult-Liaison Psychiatry at Cedars-Sinai, caring for patients from pediatrics to older adults with complex medical and psychiatric needs.

She is experienced in treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related symptoms. Vanessa is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care that honors each patient’s unique story. She believes that with the right support, healing and balance are possible for everyone.
