"Available on Weekends and After-Hours"

Dilara Sultana is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who believes that good mental health care starts with truly listening. Warm, patient, and thorough, she takes the time to understand not just your symptoms, but your story — your relationships, your stressors, and what matters most to you.

Dilara provides evidence-based medication management and supportive psychotherapy for a wide range of mental health conditions, with a special focus on children and adolescents. Her background spans acute and chronic psychiatric care in diverse hospital settings, giving her deep experience with everything from everyday anxiety and depression to complex psychiatric needs and crisis situations.

Her path to psychiatry is unique: before becoming a nurse practitioner, Dilara earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) and later completed her nursing degrees at Cleveland State University and Herzing University. She has also contributed to peer-reviewed psychiatric research. This blend of medical training, research, and hands-on nursing shapes her holistic approach — caring for the whole person, not just a diagnosis.

Fluent in English, Bengali, and Hindi, Dilara is especially comfortable working with patients and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Outside of work, you’ll find her gardening, crafting, relaxing at the beach, or exploring somewhere new — and she brings that same sense of balance and groundedness to her care.
